RN – MedSurg (Night Shift)
Location: Lee's Summit, MO
Assignment Duration: 13‑week contract position
Schedule: Shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM; weekend shifts required, with a commitment of 2 shifts per month
Job Description We are seeking a skilled Med/Surg Registered Nurse to join our team on the night shift. The nurse will be responsible for delivering quality patient care in a 36‑bed unit, collaborating with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The unit utilizes Meditech as the EMR system and is equipped with Alaris Pumps and wound vacs.
Responsibilities
Provide nursing care to patients on the Med/Surg unit
Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes in status
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans
Educate patients and families on health conditions and care plans
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
Current RN license in the state of Missouri
BLS and ACLS certification
Experience in Med/Surg nursing preferred
Ability to work flexible hours as required
