About the Opportunity Manpower is partnering with a Loveland-based company to hire an
Inventory Accountant
to support daily and monthly accounting operations during an upcoming SAP go-live. This role will help ensure inventory, cost, and margin data are accurate and well maintained as the organization prepares for system changes.
You’ll join a
collaborative accounting team of 20+ professionals
who enjoy working together in the office, sharing ideas, and continuously improving processes. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to deepen their SAP exposure and grow within an inventory-focused accounting role.
What You’ll Be Doing This is primarily a
task-based inventory accounting role , with opportunities to take on additional ad-hoc responsibilities for candidates with stronger SAP or cost accounting experience.
Key responsibilities include:
Perform daily and monthly review of inventory, margin, and cost data to ensure accurate financial reporting
Prepare and post journal entries related to inventory and cost activity
Review and validate inventory adjustments prior to posting
Assist with monthly close activities and account reconciliations
Research margin and inventory discrepancies and partner with internal teams to resolve issues
Support SOX documentation and internal controls related to inventory
Assist with physical inventory counts, reconciliations, and variance adjustments
Contribute to SAP-related projects and process improvement initiatives
Perform additional accounting tasks and special projects as assigned

Qualifications
1–3+ years of accounting or inventory accounting experience
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred (equivalent experience considered)
SAP experience strongly preferred; cost accounting experience is a plus
Experience with journal entries, reconciliations, and transactional accounting
Strong Excel and general MS Office skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Strong communication skills and professional integrity
