Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Nurse Practitioner role at Attuned Psychiatry, located in Decatur, GA. The Nurse Practitioner will assess, diagnose, and provide treatment for mental health conditions. Responsibilities include conducting patient evaluations, developing treatment plans, prescribing medications, monitoring patient progress, and providing education on mental health management. The role requires collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic and patient-centered care while adhering to clinical guidelines and best practices in psychiatry.
Qualifications
Strong clinical skills in assessing, diagnosing, and treating mental health conditions
Knowledge of psychiatry best practices, treatment planning, and medication management, experience with Ketamine, Spravato and TMS its a plus
Effective communication, active listening, and patient education skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team and maintain professionalism
Proven organizational skills and attention to detail in maintaining accurate patient records
Current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Georgia
Board certification in psychiatric-mental health or relevant specialty area is preferred
Prior clinical experience in mental health care is a strong advantage
