Position Details
Compensation: $70,000+ base salary, quarterly bonuses, paid rotating on‑call; mileage reimbursement for travel to patients’ homes.
Schedule: Monday–Friday daytime hours; full‑time with on‑call rotations.
Location: Staunton, VA – in‑home visits with potential hybrid schedule based on branch needs.
Responsibilities
Manage internal casework and evaluate nursing talent development.
Perform Start of Care Assessments and Re‑evaluations to transition patients from facilities to home care.
Review physicians’ orders and update care plans and documentation.
Interview, select, train, and validate new clinical staff.
Enhance field staff clinical expertise for safe, high‑quality nursing care.
Collaborate with operations and business development teams.
Ensure compliance with state, federal, local, and Aveanna policies and procedures.
Qualifications
Current RN license in good standing in the state of practice.
At least one year of hands‑on nursing experience.
Ability to travel to patients’ homes within the designated territory.
Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and ability to pass an MVR check.
Current CPR certification (AHA or ARC).
Willingness to supervise nurses providing in‑home skilled nursing care to patients of all ages.
