Compensation
$3,000 new hire sign‑on bonus for this position. (rehires more than 1 year also eligible)*
Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience.
USD $29.58 – $40.80 per hour.
Work Hours and Schedule
Hours:
32 flex 40 hrs
Shift:
Day shift with weekend and 1 holiday per year; 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Location:
Southcoast Business Center – Fairhaven, MA (serving New Bedford and surrounding areas)
Travel:
Driving on average 3 or more times per week required

Responsibilities Under direction of the Clinical Manager and the Occupational Therapist, work toward the achievement of the following patient goals: prevent disability, relieve pain, develop, improve or restore motor function and maintain maximum physical, emotional, social and mental performance within the patients capabilities. Meet all documentation requirements in a complete and timely manner.
Qualifications
The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant must have an associate degree from a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant Program.
Two years of experience required.
Home care experience preferred. Must possess and demonstrate highly effective interpersonal, customer service and communication skills.
Requires proficient computer skills, including experience with various software, database and electronic records programs.
Must be licensed as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant by the Board of Registration in Medicine of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and Rhode Island.
Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID‑19 virus, or be exempt by signing a statement certifying exemption for medical or personal reasons.
