ARS Therapist - 0001Z
Mon, Tues, Fri 9AM-5PM; Wed, Thurs 1PM-9PM
Base pay range: $31.25/hr - $36.06/hr
Position Summary: The Substance Abuse/ARS Therapist is part of an interdisciplinary team that provides recovery orientation services in an OASAS 822 clinic for individuals with substance use and co‑occurring disorders.
Essential Accountabilities
Perform comprehensive assessments, individual, group, and family psychotherapy.
Complete timely documentation in the electronic health record and meet productivity expectations.
Maintain required caseload and associated documentation, and send progress reports as required by mandated sources.
Perform breathalyzer and urine testing on a regular basis.
Coordinate care with other services and agencies.
Attend weekly case conference meetings, individual supervision, and agency‑mandated trainings.
Practice mandated reporting and incident reporting based on agency and state guidelines.
Obtain and maintain certifications and required licenses.
Monitor patients’ progress and attendance, following agency guidelines for contact.
Maintain confidentiality under 42CFR, 45CFR, HIPAA, and HIV regulations for all current and former patients.
Job Qualifications Experience working with individuals diagnosed with substance use disorders. Candidate must have knowledge of OASAS regulations, and experience with Microsoft and Excel is a plus. Minimum requirements include a CASAC license. LMSW‑LP, LMSW, LMHC‑LP, LMHC preferred.
