Nurse Practitioner (NP) – Oncology – Breast Center – Full Time – 8hr Days – $10K Sign On Bonus
Join Cedars‑Sinai as an NP in the Breast Center. Our magnet‑designated team provides comprehensive care for individuals recently diagnosed with breast cancer, high‑risk patients, and survivors. You will work alongside a board‑certified physician to deliver expert peri‑operative care, longitudinal surveillance, and research.
What you will be doing:
Apply the nursing process and supervised clinical practice in partnership with the medical director and chief nursing officer.
Use the Nurse Practitioner Standardized Procedures per California nursing regulations and departmental policies.
Provide individualized care aligned with CSHS standards, education plans, and performance improvement strategies.
Conduct age‑appropriate assessments, secure consent, and implement safety protocols for patients ranging from neonate to geriatric.
Manage an independent practice for breast abnormalities, high‑risk surveillance, and long‑term follow‑up of cancer patients.
Collaborate with Genetic Counselors, Breast Imaging/Radiologists, Surgical Oncologists, and fellow NPs to build integrated care pathways.
Qualifications:
Master’s degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
California Registered Nurse, Nurse Practitioner, and Furnishing License.
DEA License (schedule 2‑5). National Provider Identifier (NPI).
Basic Life Support certification.
One or more years as an NP, preferably in oncology.
Current oncology‑specific certification from a nationally accredited program (or 12 continuing education hours in oncology per Commission on Cancer).
