Direct Support Professional
Join us in making a real difference by caring for individuals with autism, intellectual and developmental disabilities in Bancroft’s Lakeside Program in Woodstown, NJ and the surrounding area.
Base pay range:
$19.32–$19.70 per hour. Plus additional incentives.
Overview As a Direct Support Professional (DSP) you’ll empower the people we serve while supporting the Bancroft mission, vision and core values. Bancroft’s Lakeside Program provides a stable environment where each individual can realize their best life. Direct Support Professionals help those in our care to reach their highest potential while gaining experience and learning new skills.
Responsibilities
Teach important life skills and help adults achieve their goals.
Carry out behavioral treatment plans and provide assistance with activities such as personal hygiene, social awareness, meal preparation, money management, and housekeeping.
Complete paperwork and communicate with residents, families, and guardians.
Transport and accompany individuals to appointments and community outings.
Qualifications
18 years of age or older.
Valid, non‑provisional driver’s license in good standing.
High school diploma or GED.
Experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
