What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Conduct weekly home visits to families, engaging parents/guardians in the child’s development
Administer screenings and assessments, maintaining accurate records for each child
Develop and implement weekly lesson plans in collaboration with parents
Organize group socialization experiences and field trips for families
Collaborate with community agencies to connect families with necessary resources
What is Required (Qualifications)
Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Social Services, or a related field
Experience in child development and early childhood education
Certification in First Aid, communicable disease, and child abuse recognition required after hire
Valid Driver's License with proof of insurance
No record of child abuse or moral turpitude as determined by a background check
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Bilingual (Spanish/English) skills
Experience working with families in a home visiting or community service capacity
Knowledge of local community resources and agencies
Strong communication skills in both verbal and written forms
Ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with families and community partners
