Medical Laboratory Scientist I - Molecular Infectious Disease
Quest Diagnostics is recruiting for a Medical Laboratory Scientist I in the Molecular Infectious Disease department located in Lewisville, TX. The position is open Sunday through Thursday from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM.
Job Description Pay range: $29.50+ per hour. Employees may be eligible for a shift differential of 10% for second shift and 15% for third shift. Salary offers are based on skills, training, experience, education and certifications. Successful candidates may be eligible for an annual performance bonus.

Responsibilities
Follow the laboratory's procedures for specimen handling, processing, test analyses, reporting and maintaining patient test result records.
Maintain records demonstrating proficiency testing samples are tested in the same manner as patient specimens.
Analyze specimens using approved testing procedures.
Review and release test results.
Follow CLIA, HIPAA, OSHA and safety guidelines as described in respective guidelines.
Follow the laboratory's established policies and procedures whenever test systems are not within acceptable performance levels.
Identify problems that may adversely affect test performance or reporting of results, correct problems or notify the senior technologist or supervisor.
Qualifications Education
Bachelor's degree required
Work Experience
1 year clinical experience with high‑complexity testing preferred
