We’re seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to deliver individualized, evidence-based care to incarcerated or youth patients within secure‑care facilities. This temporary assignment is responsive to physician referrals or direct‑access cases. You will report to facility leadership and strictly follow clinical protocols and institutional guidelines.

Rate:
$50–60/hr., DOE
What You'll Do
Deliver physical therapy services to patients/youth upon physician referral or direct access for documented diagnoses
Conduct initial assessments and evaluations for every referral; develop, communicate, and implement individualized treatment plans
Provide on‑call telephone consultations during duty hoursli>
Perform care consistent with licensure scope, facility policies, and evidence‑based best practices
Chart daily using CDCR‑approved forms; complete progress notes, assessments, and reports in outpatient charts
Ensure documentation is current—charts delinquent over 10 days may lead to termination
Coordinate with medical staff and communicate treatment plans clearly
What We're Looking For
Experience:
At least 12 continuous months in the past 3 years performing similar PT services in a public or private institutional setting.
Licensure:
Active California Physical Therapy license, compliant with all state laws and regulations.
Education:
Graduation from a CAPTE‑accredited PT program.
Certifications:
Basic Life Support (BLS) with AED (AHA or Red Cross); Current CPR certification.
Respirator Compliance:
Medical clearance for N95 and/or PAPR per California 8 CCR 5199 standards; Completion of annual respiratory protection training and health questionnaire.
Language:
Strong proficiency in English (verbal and written).
