Company Description Role Description This is a part time working towards full-time on-site role for a Physical Therapist Assistant located in Independence, MO. The Physical Therapist Assistant will assist licensed physical therapists in implementing treatment plans, providing hands-on patient care, and ensuring progress toward rehabilitation goals. Responsibilities also include maintaining accurate patient records, educating patients on exercises and mobility techniques, and collaborating with the team to deliver high-quality patient care. Qualifications Proficiency in Physical Therapy practices, including assisting in treatments and therapy techniques Experience in Patient Care and Rehabilitation focused on improving physical well-being Knowledge in delivering Quality Patient Care with attention to individual needs Understanding of Orthopedic therapy and treatments Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work with patients and the healthcare team Completion of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program and active state licensure CPR and First Aid certification is a plus Seniority level
