Registered Nurse, L&D/ Women’s Services – Central Carolina Hospital

Earn a $20,000 Commitment Bonus.

Schedule: 3–12 hour shifts per week on the Day Shift (7 a.m. – 7 p.m.) with rotating weekends.

As a Registered Nurse on the Labor & Delivery team, you play a vital role in making communities healthier.

About Our Team The Labor & Delivery team is a caring group that focuses on patient safety and family‑centered care. The obstetrics unit includes 5 L&D rooms, 1 OR suite, 2 NICU beds, and 15 ante‑partum and post‑partum private rooms, with an average of 350–400 deliveries per year.

How You’ll Contribute

Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs.

Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions.

Provides care appropriate to the condition and age of the patient.

Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record.

Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient.

What We’re Looking For

Current North Carolina state or compact state RN license.

Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire.

ACLS within 90 days of hire.

NRP Advanced certification within 90 days of hire.

AWHONN Fetal Monitoring certification within 90 days of hire.

Associate’s degree in nursing required (Bachelor's preferred).

Minimum of 3 years of Labor & Delivery experience.
