Health First Flexible Resource Pool

offers 4, 8, or 12‑hour shifts with scheduling options to fit your lifestyle! Increased rate of pay – the more shifts you work, the higher your hourly rate!

Flexible Float Options Available

2- Hospital Float Option – allow associates to select from 2 campuses (One must be Holmes Regional Medical Center, select one community location)

4- Hospital Float Option – required to float to all 4 campuses – will be paid at higher hourly rate

Weekend Options available (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) – will be paid at higher hourly rate (Weekend requirements – work 48 out of 52 weekends – 4 weekends off per year) Required to float to all 4 campuses.

The Registered Nurse is responsible and accountable for providing Uncompromised Safety, Superior quality, Memorable Patient/Customer Experiences, and Financial Stewardship. Nursing care is provided to the individual patient based upon cultural, spiritual and age specific needs.

Primary Accountabilities

Appropriate delegation and supervision of patient care activities within the healthcare setting.

Effective communication with other members of the healthcare team to promote a collaborative environment of care.

Coordinates interdisciplinary plan of care based on current evidence based practice.

Documents all nursing care, change in condition, response to therapy, treatments, procedures and referrals on patient record to meet standards.

Demonstrates dependability, reliability and flexibility.

Provides patient, family and/or caregiver education as directed by the plan of care.

Provides service to patients and families with sensitivity and respect for their needs, expectations, age, cultural, and individual needs.

Qualifications

Work Experience

Graduate of an approved school of professional nursing

Current Florida RN licensure or Multi‑State Compact License required

Current AHA BLS/CPR required

Current AHA ACLS required for critical care areas (PCU & ICU)

NIHSS Stroke Scale Certification upon hire or within 90 days of start
