About the role As a Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse), you will report to the Plasma Center Manager and support plasma center operations. Your responsibilities include determining donor eligibility, managing donor adverse events, reviewing laboratory test results, and notifying donors of unsuitable test results. You will work under the guidance of the Center Manager and the Center Physician for medical issues and will be familiar with plasma collection regulations.
How you will contribute
Determine donor eligibility, including informed consent, medical history interview, physical examination, and blood testing.
Evaluate donor reactions according to SOPs and manage medical emergencies.
Refer to the Center Physician or Medical Affairs for medical findings and guidance.
Support employee vaccination programs for Hepatitis B and seasonal flu.
Manage employee incidents and coordinate with occupational health/EHS.
Act as Pandemic Coordinator when authorized by EHS.
What you bring
High school diploma or equivalent, including state‑recognized nursing program graduate.
Current EMT‑Paramedic license in the state of assignment.
Current CPR and AED certifications.
State requirements for basic IV therapy.
Completion of FDA‑approved training for BioLife Medical Support Specialist.
Two years of clinical or hospital experience.

Compensation and benefits Hourly wage range: $23.85 – $32.79.
