Pay Range $20.15 - $20.15 per hour

Physical Requirements M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting.

Sign-On Bonus As a Phlebotomist, you ensure safe and effective blood collection for accurate analysis. You serve as a laboratory liaison between patients, nursing personnel and house staff. You demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide appropriate individual patient care.

Responsibilities

Patient Care – Provide patient with all necessary information about the procedure; ensure patient is comfortable and safe.

Blood Collection & Documentation – Collect blood specimens via venipuncture and skin puncture; ensure complete and accurate specimens for testing; prepare specimens for processing and complete any associated paperwork.

Transportation – Obtain the required specimens/labels and transport to specified area.

Required Qualifications

None.

Preferred Qualifications

PBT (ASCP) certification preferred.

One year of Phlebotomy experience preferred.

Exceptional communication skills and professional behavior preferred.
