Summary The Physical Therapist is responsible for the administration, interpretation and evaluation of tests and measurements. The PT plans and modifies treatment programs for adult patients with clinical competency, as applicable.
Responsibilities Administer, interpret, and evaluate physical therapy tests and measurements. Plan and modify treatment programs for adult patients. Provide clinical care in both outpatient and inpatient settings, including marketing and business interactions.
Qualifications Minimum Education Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy
Preferred Education Master’s or Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy
Minimum Experience No previous work experience necessary. After completion of 3 full years / beginning of 4th year may be eligible for Physical Therapist Level II.
Preferred Experience Clinical experience in both outpatient and inpatient care Marketing and business familiarity Spanish proficiency
Certifications / Licensure New graduates: possession of current Texas State license prior to orientation. All others: possession of current Texas State license.
Required Courses / Completions Must have active healthcare provider Basic Life Support at hire. Must have AHA Healthcare Provider BLS within 60 days of hire.
