Key Roles and Responsibilities
The Mental Health Associate assists Registered Nurses in providing direct psychiatric and medical care to patients.
The Mental Health Associate participates as a member of the treatment team in creating and maintaining a safe and therapeutic milieu.
Scheduling Requirements
Required to work one 3pm-11:30pm shift a week.
Education
Bachelor of Arts or Science (required).
Education specialization: Social Science preferred.
Licensure, Certification, or Registration Requirement
Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 3 months of hire.
Valid driver’s license required.
Benefits and Compensation $18.11 - $28.86 per hour, based on experience and education. Penn Medicine offers a comprehensive compensation and benefits program that includes a prepaid tuition assistance program.
