Qualifications
Associate’s Degree (ADN) or higher in nursing.
Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license.
Preferred: 1 year experience in radiology, ICU, or a high‑acuity setting.
BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
Strong understanding of radiologic and imaging procedures and safety protocols, including contrast media.
Proficiency in electronic medical record systems.
Responsibilities
Assist radiologists and other medical professionals during diagnostic imaging examinations and interventional radiology procedures.
Administer and monitor IV contrast agents, promptly addressing allergic reactions or complications.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to provide optimal patient care before, during, and after procedures.
Educate patients and families on pre‑ and post‑procedure care, explaining risks and benefits.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all nursing care in accordance with hospital and departmental policies.
