As a
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
at
Lake Ridge Care Center , you will provide nursing care, administer medications and treatments, monitor resident health, and supervise nursing personnel during your shift. We seek a skilled, dependable LPN who thrives in a team oriented environment and is committed to enhancing the lives of older adults. Position type:
Full‑Time, temporary position up to 3 months of 12‑hour overnight shifts.
Shifts available (including every other weekend):
Nights 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM.
Pay range:
$28.41 – $36.29 per hour, depending on experience.
Location:
310 Lake Blvd S, Buffalo, MN 55313.
Responsibilities
Displays a courteous attitude and respects all residents, families, and staff.
Coordinates, oversees, and provides resident‑related care.
Administers medications and/or treatments per physician’s orders and monitors for effectiveness / response.
Manages medications, supplies, and equipment, including ordering, receiving, storing, and disposing per policies.
Documents care using computerized medication administration and charting software.
Notifies Clinical Manager, attending physicians, and family members of significant changes in a resident’s condition and takes follow‑up action as necessary.
Monitors nursing personnel on duty during the assigned shift.
Qualifications
In good standing with the Minnesota Board of Nursing and holding a current MN Nursing license.
Current BLS certification.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Self‑starter with a desire to be part of a team.
