As an occupational therapist assistant (COTA) joining our team, you play a vital role in making communities healthier. You will provide direct patient care, support occupational therapists, and contribute to exceptional patient outcomes.
Baptist Memorial Rehabilitation Hospital is a 53‑bed inpatient rehabilitation hospital located in Germantown, Tennessee, dedicated to providing acute care, rehabilitation, and behavioral health services.
How You'll Contribute
Provides direct patient care under the supervision of an occupational therapist
Assists with therapeutic interventions and documentation while supporting quality and compliance standards
Communicates patient progress or concerns to the supervising occupational therapist and interdisciplinary team
Instructs patients' families or nursing staff in follow‑through programs and home exercises
Assists with patient scheduling and post‑treatment charges to patient records daily
Documents patient care accurately and in accordance with regulatory, licensing, payer, and accrediting requirements
Maintains treatment equipment and work areas in a clean and safe condition
Ensures compliance with the company’s code of business conduct, corporate compliance agreement, and applicable laws and professional standards
Performs other duties as assigned
