Responsibilities
Nursing tasks within the framework of case finding, health teaching, health counseling, and provision of supportive and restorative care under the direction of a registered professional nurse or licensed provider.
Administer medications and provide treatments prescribed by providers.
Perform immunizations and injections.
Assist in facilitating patient flow for the provider to ensure seamless and efficient patient flow.
Maintain the care and use of supplies, equipment, etc.
Perform all CLIA waiver tests and ensure all tests are up to date.
Demonstrate proper placement and documentation of PPD.
Comply with patient information in the absence of an RN and consult with medical provider.
You will be primarily based at our Buffalo locations and will travel to other Neighborhood sites in Western New York as needed.
Qualifications
Graduated from an accredited one- or two-year nursing school.
Current NYS License as a Practical Nurse.
Current CPR certification.
Exceptional attention to detail and follow-through.
Superb organizational skills.
Strong influencing skills.
Self-starter with the ability to work proactively and take initiative.
Results-oriented; creative and persistent in accomplishing tasks.
Solutions-driven with a systems orientation.
Highly responsive, timely, accurate, and thorough in follow-up and follow-through.
Compensation and Benefits Compensation:
$26.75 an hour based on a full-time, 40-hour work week.
