Position Overview The Ohio State University College of Medicine and the Wexner Medical Center seek an academic Rheumatologist to join the Division of Rheumatology and Immunology. Academic rank and track commensurate with academic record and experience.

The Division of Rheumatology and Immunology in the Department of Internal Medicine has a dynamic opportunity for an academic rheumatologist to help meet the needs of an expanding outpatient multidisciplinary clinic network. The primary responsibilities are providing patient care in the general rheumatology clinic, outpatient procedures, and inpatient consultation. In addition to patient care, the selected candidate will participate in the teaching and training of students, residents, and rheumatology fellows, and will have research opportunities in clinical trials.

The successful candidate will be joining a dynamic division, department, and medical center experiencing considerable growth in the clinical and academic missions. Faculty rank and financial compensation are commensurate with experience and credentials.

Requirements

Board‑certified/eligible in Rheumatology

Must possess or be eligible for licensure in the state of Ohio

Faculty Defined Clinical faculty (regardless of rank): Persons with titles of assistant professor‑clinical, associate professor‑clinical, and professor‑clinical. These faculty earned an MD, DO, PhD, or other terminal degree and are appointed for terms of three to five years.

Tenure‑Track faculty (regardless of rank): Persons with the titles of assistant professor, associate professor, or professor who are eligible for tenure or have obtained tenure.

Research Faculty (regardless of rank): Persons with the titles of research assistant professor, research associate professor, or research professor. These faculty are appointed for terms of one to five years.
