Physician – Rheumatology (Open Rank/Track Faculty) The Ohio State University College of Medicine and Wexner Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio is seeking an academic rheumatologist to join the Division of Rheumatology and Immunology.

Position Overview Dynamic opportunity to help meet the needs of an expanding outpatient multidisciplinary clinic network. The role includes patient care, teaching, and research.

Responsibilities

Provide patient care in the general rheumatology clinic, including outpatient procedures and inpatient consultations.

Teach and train medical students, residents, and rheumatology fellows.

Engage in clinical trials and other research activities.

Contribute to the growth of the clinical and academic missions of the division and college.

Qualifications

Board‑certified or eligible in Rheumatology.

Must possess or be eligible for licensure in the State of Ohio.

Academic rank and track commensurate with record and experience.

Academic Track Definition

Clinical faculty (assistant/associate/professor‑clinical): focus on exemplary clinical care with teaching/research.

Tenure‑track faculty (assistant/associate/professor): primary focus on research, service, and teaching; may also provide clinical care.

Research faculty (assistant/associate/professor): focus exclusively on research.

Position Type: Regular; Shift: First Shift.
