Lead Business Intelligence Analyst
to join our Regional Performance Analytics team and play a pivotal role in turning complex data into actionable insights that influence strategic decisions and business growth. This is a unique opportunity to lead technical analytics efforts, collaborate closely with business leaders, and champion a data-driven culture within a vibrant, cross‑functional environment. You will help shape the future of analytics at Royal Canin by delivering best‑in‑class reporting, bespoke analysis, and innovative use cases that serve as a global template for excellence. What are we looking for?
Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (Business Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science); Master’s preferred 8+ years of Business Intelligence experience in fast-paced industries such as CPG, Retail, or Pharmaceuticals Advanced skills in Power BI (DAX, data modeling), SQL, Python, and cloud analytics platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) Highly motivated with strong intellectual curiosity and strategic thinking Ability to operate independently and manage shifting priorities in a dynamic environment Strong business acumen with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations People management experience is a plus with proven leadership in project delivery and mentoring junior analysts Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills What will be your key responsibilities?
Serve as the BI/Data Lake subject matter expert, providing technical leadership and guidance to the organization Coach and upskill junior analysts, supporting their transition to data lake environments and fostering a culture of continuous learning Support the entire business unit in driving value from the data lake, especially as new data access and capabilities come online Partner with various teams across Royal Canin to design and deliver capability‑driven, custom analysis and insights that deepen business understanding Drive and shape capability strategy across the business, ensuring analytics solutions align with evolving needs and opportunities Engage with leaders and stakeholders to understand, modernize, and expand analytics capabilities Own the operational quality of reporting and analysis, including data collection, cleaning, and preprocessing as needed What can you expect from Mars?
