Position Summary
The EHS Manager will lead environmental, health, and safety initiatives across the organization, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and driving a culture of safety and sustainability. This role combines strategic planning, plant management, project oversight, and continuous improvement to protect employees, the environment, and business operations. The position requires a strong leader with the ability to collaborate across departments while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
Develop and implement EHS strategies, policies, and programs aligned with business goals
Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations at all operational levels
Lead organizational training, awareness, and risk-reduction initiatives
Collect, analyze, and report EHS performance metrics for accountability and improvement
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure quality service delivery and operational safety
Key Skills
Strong leadership with excellent communication and presentation abilities
Strategic thinking and project management expertise
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Education & Other Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Chemical Engineering, or related field
Minimum 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing or repair environment with supervisory skills
Preferred certifications: Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce)
Preferred bilingual abilities in English and Spanish or German
Location
Manufacturing facility will be built in the Houston area ETA 2026
