Position Overview We are seeking an experienced EHS Manager/Consultant to lead our environmental, health, and safety initiatives within the pharmaceutical, high tech manufacturing and R&D industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing EHS strategies that ensure compliance, enhance safety culture, and drive continuous improvement across projects.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement EHS policies and procedures for the pharmaceutical, high tech manufacturing and R&D sector.
Conduct risk assessments and environmental audits to identify areas for improvement.
Provide expert consulting services to project teams on EHS matters.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal EHS regulations.
Lead training sessions and workshops to promote EHS awareness.
Collaborate with R&D and manufacturing teams to integrate EHS considerations into project planning.
Monitor and report on EHS performance metrics and objectives.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health, Safety, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in EHS management within the pharmaceutical, high tech manufacturing and R&D industry.
Proven project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple initiatives simultaneously.
Strong knowledge of EHS regulations and best practices.
Certification in Industrial Hygiene (CIH) and (CSP) is a plus, or willingness to obtain within the first year.
Willingness to travel locally and nationally is required.
