Technology Partners is currently seeking a talented Senior Payroll Specialist.

What You Will Be Doing: This role is a Senior Payroll Specialist responsible for ensuring accurate payroll processing within a high-volume environment. It involves supporting system migration from PeopleSoft to Oracle, with a focus on testing data and improving payroll processes through collaboration and feedback.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure accurate payroll processing in a high-volume setting.

Support system migration (PeopleSoft to Oracle) with a focus on data testing and process improvement.

Prepare and process payroll, including calculations for wages, taxes, and commissions.

Handle employee inquiries related to payroll issues or concerns.

Apply knowledge of payroll processing, tax regulations, garnishments, and payroll documentation.

Develop testing scripts and validate payroll data during system migration (preferably with Oracle Payroll experience).

Ensure accuracy and compliance through excellent organizational and mathematical skills.

Be adaptable and willing to learn new systems, especially during migration to Oracle Payroll.

Required Skills & Experience:

Strong proficiency in Excel, including VLOOKUPs, Power Query, and IFSUMs, for payroll data analysis and reconciliation.

Experience preparing and processing payroll in high-volume settings, including calculations for wages, taxes, and commissions.

Knowledge of payroll processing, tax regulations, garnishments, and payroll documentation.

Ability to develop testing scripts and validate payroll data during system migration (preferably with Oracle Payroll experience).

Excellent organizational and mathematical skills to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Adaptability and willingness to learn new systems, especially during migration to Oracle Payroll.

Experience handling employee inquiries related to payroll issues or concerns.

Demonstrated mindset towards continuous process improvement and feedback contribution.

Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Experience working in dynamic, fast-paced payroll environments.

Desired Skills & Experience:

Prior experience with Oracle Payroll or system testing in payroll system migrations.

Familiarity with process improvement initiatives and providing feedback for workflow enhancements.

Payroll or tax domain knowledge with an emphasis on process automation and efficiency.

Experience working in a multi-technology environment with Windows-based systems.

Certifications related to payroll or accounting are a plus but not mandatory.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred but not required.

Pay: $31.79 - $45.41/hr.
