Overview The FP&A Manager will play a pivotal role in enhancing financial visibility, forecasting accuracy, and strategic decision-making across the organization. This role partners closely with leadership as well as operations, sales, and marketing teams to drive budgeting, forecasting, and profitability analysis within a fast‑paced consumer packaged goods (CPG) environment.

This position is ideal for a hands‑on financial professional with strong analytical capabilities, deep experience in large CPG organizations, and advanced systems proficiency.

Key Responsibilities Budgeting, Forecasting & Financial Modeling

Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual budgeting and forecasting processes.

Build and maintain financial models to support demand planning, pricing strategies, promotional planning, and new product launches.

Improve forecasting accuracy using historical data, trends, and key performance drivers.

Financial Analysis & Insights

Analyze revenue, gross margin, operating expenses, and performance against plan.

Provide actionable financial insights to Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Operations.

Deliver dashboards, KPI reporting, and decision‑ready analysis to executive leadership.

Cross‑Functional & Strategic Support

Own headcount planning, Opex tracking, and ROI analysis.

Support board and investor reporting as needed.

Partner with business teams to strengthen financial accountability and drive profitable growth.

Process & Systems Optimization

Enhance FP&A processes, tools, and reporting capabilities.

Leverage ERP and CRM systems (such as Certinia/FinancialForce and Salesforce) to optimize data integrity and financial workflows.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.

Minimum of 3 years FP&A experience in a large or well‑established CPG company.

Advanced Excel proficiency (modeling, pivot tables, complex formulas).

Hands‑on experience with Certinia (FinancialForce), Salesforce, or comparable ERP/CRM systems.

Strong understanding of key CPG financial drivers: volume, pricing, trade spend, inventory, and margin dynamics.

Exceptional analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.

Ability to work cross‑functionally and influence stakeholders effectively.

Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities.
