Project Engineer - Structural

This position is responsible for project management and process engineering services. The position will involve projects in their full scope from initial estimating, proposal submission, construction and start-up. The position will also be available to assist manufacturing plants with safety, quality, process optimization and productivity improvements.
Responsibilities
Develop project scopes; estimate equipment, installations, and engineering costs and prepare project schedules for Appropriation Requests Complete all project assignments within established scope, budget, and schedule Design of and/or oversee preparation of construction drawing packages for capital projects Oversee field construction activities Project start-ups Specification and procurement of equipment and engineering and construction services Work with existing facilities for maintenance, repair and improvement projects Other duties as assigned Qualifications
BS in Civil/Structural Engineering, with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience 5 years Project Management experience, preferred Thorough understanding of OSHA safety regulations related to assigned projects Computer skills – Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, experience with SAP a plus Willingness to travel Experience in wallboard or equivalent manufacturing plant and process a plus Ability to plan and coordinate a project from start to finish Ability to handle multiple projects Ability to work in a team environment Benefits
