Now offering a $1,500 sign on bonus for Medical Assistant & Medical Office Specialist New Hires! Effective August 26, 2025 and expires December 31, 2025. Applicable only for MA & MOS positions in the Centers of Excellence and Maryland Family Care practices, of which this role applies to.
Responsibilities Provides general Medical Assistant assistance to Internal Medicine physician in an outpatient setting within the hospital.
The Medical Assistant will be responsible for:
Room patients and obtaining vitals
Entering patient information into electronic medical record (EMR)
Setting up and assisting with office procedures
Chaperone providers during patient examination
Taking pre‑op and post‑op photos of patients
Maintaining and stocking exam rooms
Ordering clinical supplies
Completing FMLA and Disability forms
Cleaning and resetting exam rooms
Travel to satellite locations as needed
Other duties as assigned
Requirements Education and Work Experience
High School Diploma or GED
A minimum of one year experience preferably in a medical office setting
Certification
preferred
Certification Requirements CPR‑preferred
Age Specific Care Provided For: Adolescent, Adults, Geriatrics
