QUALIFICATIONS Essential Functions include the following: Other duties as assigned.
Meets professional responsibilities.
Plans and organizes instruction to achieve course proficiencies.
Provides effective instruction using various strategies, which bring about desired student proficiencies.
Assesses student progress and maintains records and communicates ongoing student progress.
Organizes and manages the classroom environment to maximize learning.
Demonstrates effective communication skills with students, parents, and the community.
Demonstrates effective people skills.
REQUIREMENT
Licensed Teacher is preferred
Consideration may be given to a licensed teacher in other content areas
Consideration may also be given to someone enrolled in a Transition to Teaching program at a state-approved higher education institution
SALARY/BENEFITS According to the salary schedule and benefit package, per agreement of Western School Corporation and Western Education Association.
