Mr. Electric LLC
You Are Probably Not the Electrician for This Job
If You:
View National Electrical Code as just a guideline versus actual rules
Are confident PVC for plumbing and PVC for electrical are the same
Have no real opinions about how an electrical panel should be wired
Would rather take a call to replace a GFCI plug down the street, than drive across town for a really cool project
Don’t love tools, or own any tools that fix tools
Believe in doing it safely, but only if it doesn’t take too long
Figure most of the time good enough is good enough
Want to be surrounded by incompetence, because it makes you look like a better electrician
Can’t get through the first call of the day fast enough, so you can burn through another one or two before lunch
Care more about money than your customers, and how you can positively affect their lives
Enjoy getting as much out of every single customer as you can, because you don’t plan to ever see them again
Feel like being empowered and trusted by your employer is way too much responsibility
Prefer to be somewhere employees look out only for themselves, because helping others improve and succeed is their boss’s job
Think showing up on time, doing what you say you’re going to do, looking people in the eye, and saying ‘please’ and ‘thank you’ is pretty old-fashioned
Wish you could work somewhere where your opinions are not valued or even heard
Look forward to not being friends with, or even liking your co‑workers and their families
Hope that someday you can spend the majority of your time in an environment with a seemingly endless supply of drama
Mr. Electric of Fort Worth is looking for licensed wiremen and journeymen electricians, with residential service experience, who have probably been accused of caring too much, taking too long to build relationships with their customers, and doing work that is too precise and esthetically pleasing.
If you are an electrician and that sounds like you, and you’re still reading this listing, then you must be a good person who just happens to be a good electrician … and we hate how badly we want to hire you!
