Job Summary
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (NY HELPS), Mohawk Valley Psychiatric Center, Rome Clinic (P27526). Full‑time, permanent position, Monday–Friday 6 AM–6 PM, 40 hours per week. Competitive class, salary range $86,681–$109,650 annually.
Responsibilities
Diagnose emotional and behavior disorders.
Provide psychotherapy.
Conduct biopsychosocial assessments.
Develop assessment‑based treatment plans.
Work independently with a multidisciplinary team to provide professional social work services to individuals with mental illness.
Minimum Qualifications
Licensed Clinical Social Worker in New York State (for candidates outside or within State Service).
Alternatively, one year of permanent competitive or 55‑b/55‑c service in a title eligible for transfer under Section 70.1 of the Civil Service Law.
