Registered Nurse 2 - Community (NY HELPS), Mohawk Valley Psychiatric Center Location
Mohawk Valley Psychiatric Center, 1400 Noyes Street, Utica, NY 13502 Compensation
Full‑time, permanent. Salary: $105,173 - $114,121 annually. 40 hours per week, Monday‑Friday, 6 AM to 6 PM. Responsibilities
Directly provide, oversee, and coordinate nursing and health‑related care services for a caseload of individuals in a community setting, such as a Family Care Program, Mobile Integration Team, and outpatient clinic. Perform clinical case management activities. Serve as a member of an interdisciplinary treatment team. Provide nursing‑specific clinical, consultative, and instructional assistance to individuals and their families, other disciplines, and healthcare providers. Minimum Qualifications
License and current registration as a registered professional nurse in New York State. 2 years of post-licensure clinical nursing experience, with at least 1 year providing direct services to individuals diagnosed with mental illness, developmental disabilities, addiction, or substance use disorders in a community setting. Bachelor’s degree in nursing may substitute for 1 year of post-licensure experience; a master’s degree may substitute for 2 years. Neither degree substitutes for the required 1 year of specialized community nursing experience. For in‑state service, one year of permanent competitive or 55‑b/55‑c service in a title eligible for transfer under Section 70.1 of the Civil Service Law. Benefits
