Compensation of $20-46/hour
Primary Responsibilities
Perform preventive maintenance & service inspections on a variety of transport refrigeration units (TRU) & auxiliary power units (APU)
Perform diagnostic, repair work on mobile refrigeration equipment, auxiliary power units & heater equipment
Follow established technical & administrative processes
Complete repair orders & parts usage forms
Communicate effectively with supervisor, team members & customers
Remain current on technical & regulation requirements
Perform road service calls as required
Position Requirements
Experience in the field of refrigeration/HVAC equipment installation and/or repair
Skills to sufficiently install, diagnose and repair refrigeration equipmentDemonstrate technical knowledge of refrigeration systems, components, materials, methods & equipment to perform, prioritize and complete job assignments
Own & maintain the proper hand tools to perform job functions
High school diploma or equivalent, technical trade school a plus
Proficient with computer operation/usage
Valid driver’s license
To have or be willing to earn EPA 608/609 refrigeration certifications is a big plus!
