Position Responsibilities
Manages patient appointments, welcomes and escorts patients, and organizes movement within the clinic to improve operational efficiency.
Prepares examination rooms, ensures adequate supply levels, and informs supervisors when supplies need to be reordered to avoid shortages.
Administers medications and injections as directed by the physician, ensuring compliance with treatment protocols.
Assists physicians during various procedures (injections, sutures, venipunctures, biopsies, EKGs, casts) and monitors vital signs, following Universal Precautions and sterilization standards.
Qualifications
Medical Assistant Certification from accredited institution/agency required.
Completion of Medical Assistant training.
High School or equivalent.
CPR/ BLS Certification required (American Heart Association).
6 months to 1+Years Medical Assistant experience.
Phlebotomy Certification Preferred.
Bilingual required.
