About the Role
Sole Hire, LLC is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Practical Nursing Instructor to join our instructional team. This role plays a key part in shaping the next generation of healthcare professionals through comprehensive, hands‑on education. The instructor will deliver engaging classroom, laboratory, and clinical training while maintaining compliance with all state and institutional standards. You’ll report directly to the Program Chair, Academic Dean, or Campus President and uphold Sole Hire’s commitment to excellence in career education.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver classroom, lab, and clinical instruction in accordance with approved curriculum and learning outcomes.
Develop, implement, and maintain lesson plans, course objectives, and evaluation tools.
Provide timely grading, constructive feedback, and individualized academic support.
Track and report student attendance, academic progress, and retention.
Advise and mentor students to promote professional growth and academic success.
Participate in curriculum planning, program evaluation, and equipment/resource management.
Maintain professional licensure and engage in continuing education activities.
Attend required meetings and serve on committees as assigned.
Actively monitor course discussions, respond promptly to student inquiries, and grade assignments within 48 hours (for online courses).
Qualifications
Current, unencumbered RN or LPN license (state‑specific requirements apply).
Minimum of 3‑5 years of clinical nursing experience; teaching experience preferred.
Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Commitment to fostering a supportive, inclusive, and outcomes‑driven learning environment.
Additional Requirements
BSN degree with current, valid, and unencumbered Illinois Registered Nurse license.
Current CPR Basic Life Support certification.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong relationship‑building abilities with students and faculty.
Exceptional time management and attention to detail.
Proficiency with educational technology and learning management systems.
