Job Description Registered Nurse – PACU
Why work as an RN in PACU at Munson Healthcare?
Teamwork and support
– our multidisciplinary teams include experienced and new graduate RNs, providers, clinicians and support staff who will help you transition to your new role.
Provides and pre and post anesthesia care for surgical and procedural patients
Works collaboratively with anesthesia providers
Perform outpatient and inpatient surgeries, 60-70 cases/day
PACU Residency Program (12 months)
Commitment to growth and development – thousands of educational offerings, leadership development, simulation education and tuition reimbursement.
Qualifications What’s Required:
Active Registered Nurse license in the State of Michigan
Experience caring for adult surgical patients within the last 3 years preferred.
BCLS, and ACLS, required upon hire, PALS within 6 months of hire.

Munson Healthcare requires all employees be vaccinated or have lab confirmed immunity for Measles, Mumps, Rubella and Varicella. MHC also requires all employees to receive a flu vaccine during the flu season in the year that they are hired and annually thereafter, or receive an approved medical or religious exemption.
