Job Description American Traveler is seeking a Cardiovascular ICU RN for a critical care unit position requiring a valid TN or compact RN license and AHA BLS and ACLS certifications.
Responsibilities
Work in a hospital critical care unit with a 6-bed capacity
Patient population includes adults with cardiac surgery, myocardial infarction, CHF, cardiogenic shock, cardiomyopathy, arrhythmias, and post-cardiopulmonary arrest
Patients are young adult through late adult (ages 18-60+)
Shifts are 12 hours, 18:45 to 08:15, for 36 or 48 hours per week
13-week assignment duration
Must comply with facility’s radius rule, with locals accepted at a reduced rate
Travelers may only submit to one position within the system at a time
COVID vaccination is not required for this position
Auto-offer process is in place for all positions
Travelers should discuss contract extension options with their manager at least 45 days before contract end
Requirements
Active TN or compact RN license required
AHA BLS and ACLS certification required
NIH Stroke certification required
Nursys license verification and primary source verification required within 30 days prior to start
Must possess a valid US Social Security Number and provide a home US address
Submission requires two professional references and a copy of driver’s license
