**Location:** Bryan, TX**Schedule:** Full-Time; This position may require work beyond normal office hours and/or work on weekends**Please note:** This position is grant funded; future employment may be contingent upon future funding.* PhD, Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, Computer Science* Training in statistics, and programming experience in a UNIX/Linux environment using programming languages such as Python, R, and/or Perl is required.* Experience in analysis of genomis /trancriptomic /epigenomic data including RNA-seq, ATAC-seq, and ChIP-seq.* Experience in working with high-performance computing environment.* Experience in data management and developing data-processing pipelines.* Proficiency in programming languages such as R, Python, Matlab.* Familiarity with software development best practices (e.g., unit testing, version control).* Familiarity with inferential statistics and machine learning.* Expertise in computational biology and ability to devise innovative analytical approaches to high-volume genomic, epigenomic, and gene expression data.* Capable of working within a team of wet and dry lab researchers.
