Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Intermediate Care Unit (IMC) night shift position requiring recent critical care experience and current BLS and ACLS certifications.
Responsibilities
Work in the Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU/Stepdown) within a hospital setting
Options for 3x12 or 4x12 hour night shifts
Some weekend and holiday shifts are required
13-week assignment with possible extension
Minimal to no time off during contract
Royal blue scrubs are required and not provided
Duties include managing intermediate care/stepdown patients, titrating critical drips, starting IVs, and collecting laboratory samples
Assignment start date is typically 3 weeks from offer
Candidates must have required documents ready, including a driver’s license and social security number
Requirements
Active GA or compact RN license
Current BLS and ACLS certifications
At least one year of recent critical care and ICU experience
Ability to start and titrate critical drips, perform IV starts, and collect lab samples
Two professional references required for consideration
Previous travel experience is preferred
Will not accept candidates who live within 30 miles of the facility
Candidates living 31-50 miles from the facility have adjusted pay rates
