IOP Clinician – OCD Anxiety Centers
OCD Anxiety Centers is dedicated to bringing evidence‑based treatment to individuals suffering from unrelenting anxiety, intrusive thoughts, and avoidance behaviors. This role supports our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) with clinical expertise, client engagement, and collaboration across the IOP team.
Core Responsibilities
Facilitate individual and group IOP sessions, ensuring attendance and adherence to the 100% attendance policy.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, exposure strategies, and behavioral interventions.
Provide ongoing supervision and mentorship for Behavioral Health Technicians (BHTs) and interns.
Maintain timely and accurate documentation (progress notes, discharge summaries) in compliance with organizational standards.
Participate in weekly treatment team meetings, presenting client progress and identifying improvement plans.
Actively engage in professional development, creating SMART goals with the Program Director.
Contribute to program improvements and adherence to quality metrics (symptom reduction, attendance, documentation accuracy).
Education and Experience
Master’s degree or higher in social work, clinical mental health counseling, marriage and family therapy, Psy.D., or equivalent.
Current and unrestricted state licensure (licensed therapist, LCSW, LCMH, LMFT, etc.) or valid intern number with clear pathway to licensure.
Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills; proficiency in electronic data entry.
Ability to work extended hours, including evenings and weekends, in a fast‑moving setting.
Physical capability to sit, stand, bend, lift, and walk for prolonged periods.
Preferred Qualifications
2+ years’ experience in a mental health position, ideally with OCD and anxiety populations.
Experience with cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT).
Demonstrated exposure therapy skills and experience managing suicidal risk.
