Direct Support Professional/Caregiver – North St. Group Home (West Middlesex, PA)
Abound Health actively hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) at our North St. Group Home. We support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) to live full, independent lives. Whether experienced or newly starting, we offer training, flexibility, and support to help you thrive.
What You’ll Do
Support behavioral, social, and vocational development
Assist with recreational and leisure activities
Follow treatment plans and document progress
Provide companionship and respite care
Submit documentation and payroll data on schedule
Participate in ongoing training and development
Address personal care needs when required
Work independently in home and community settings
What We’re Looking For
Genuine interest in supporting individuals with I/DD
Ability to work independently and responsibly
At least 18 years old
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation
Pass background checks
Physical ability to assist with lifting if needed
CPR/First Aid certification (training provided)
Compensation
$16.50–$18.00/hour (varies by opportunity)
$1,000 signing bonus for qualified candidates
Schedule
Mornings, afternoons, overnights, weekends available (full‑time & part‑time)
