Job Summary and Responsibilities
As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will be a pivotal healthcare professional, delivering compassionate, high-quality care that truly impacts our patients' well‑being and recovery.
Assessment: Provides nursing care to meet the patient’s physical, psychological and spiritual needs. Notifies doctor of changes in assessment that require attention.
Planning: Designs, directs, evaluates, and documents the plan of care, patient/family teaching and the transition of care plan to include a safe appropriate level of care discharge.
Implementation: Prepares patients physically, psychologically, and spiritually for treatments, surgeries and diagnostic studies to help reduce patient anxiety. Implements patient safety initiative and protocols.
Evaluation: Reassesses patients at appropriate intervals following interventions. Adjusts nursing care to meet patient’s emerging and changing needs.
Report Skills: Gives and receives report using Bedside Shift Report including family participation.
Environment & Patient Safety: Maintains patient and work environment to maximize safe working space.
Deliver care to 4‑6 patients per shift for Cardiac patients.
Administer medications, change dressings, monitor vital signs, and chart with timely documentation.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary team including social work, care coordination, physical therapy, occupational therapy, lab, respiratory therapy and imaging.
Requirements
Associate’s in Nursing or Diploma with at least one (1) year of RN experience.
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) within 2 years from hire date.
Registered Nurse performance expectations met upon hire.
Basic Life Support (CPR) certification within 14 days.
Preferred
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN).
