Ohio Dental Outreach, a school‑based mobile dental practice, is seeking a
Registered Dental Hygienist
in
Columbus, OH and surrounding areas
to provide dental care to underserved children at their schools.

Qualifications
Must hold an active RDH license.
1+ year’s experience as a Registered Dental Hygienist.
Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel to schools across counties.
Works well with children and adults.
Current CPR (BLS) certification.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Responsibilities
Assist with oral health management of all patients and remain a team player at all times.
Verify the identity of each patient using name and date of birth before treatment and record initials on the medical chart.
Obtain oral health assessments for new and follow‑up patients.
Review medical history and other pertinent oral health information.
Provide oral hygiene services, including dental prophylaxis scaling, sealant application and fluoride application, following accepted best practices and standards.
Assist the dentist when directed.
Deliver oral health education and individual counseling to each patient, covering tooth brushing, flossing and related practices.
Document provided dental services on the patient’s chart.
Travel daily to and from school sites.
