At the present time, a vacancy for a full‑time Speech and Language Therapist position for preschool exists within the Division of Student Services for the Chester County Intermediate Unit. This position will serve preschool special education students countywide.

Qualifications
Valid PDE certification as a Speech & Language Therapist required
Master's degree in Communicative Disorders required
Certificate of Clinical Competence; Clinical Fellowship year considered
Current police, child abuse, and FBI fingerprint clearances required
Clearance as an MA provider by the Commonwealth of PA and federal government (conducted by CCIU upon hire)
Duties and Responsibilities
Provide speech/language therapy services, complete evaluations, and maintain all paperwork for a caseload of students including itinerant classrooms.
Position location Countywide
Salary Range (2025‑2026 SY)
PRO, Track I (Masters + 30): $69,938–$106,442/yr.
All SLPs with Master's Degree in Speech Pathology/Communication Sciences Disorders – Placement on band is based on years of direct experience in a comparable role. 194‑day position, 7.5 hours per day, 5 days per week.
