Job Summary and Qualifications We are seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist on a PRN/as‑needed basis to operate medical diagnostic imaging equipment and assist in imaging procedures such as angiography and cardiac catheterization (CC), as well as those performed in the Interventional Radiology Lab (scrubbing, circulating, and recording/monitoring patient status). Responsibilities

Demonstrate accountability and responsibility and perform procedures in a caring, compassionate, and respectful manner.

Prepare and position patients and equipment in a safe, competent manner in accordance with established operating procedures.

Perform technical radiographic procedures in accordance with established operating procedures and routines accurately and in a timely manner.

Assist in administration of contrast media in accordance with departmental policy and procedure.

Obtain high quality radiographic images; review quality of radiographs to ensure quality standards have been met.

Obtain and document all pertinent patient information prior to exam, i.e., patient history, pregnancy, allergies and obtain informed consent in accordance with departmental policy and procedure.

Maintain effective communication with patient; provide explanation of procedures within scope of practice.

Maintain proactive and effective communication with radiologists.

Be responsible for rotating call assignments.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)

Associate Degree from a 2‑year AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology

Clear/active Florida Department of Health licensure (CRT)

Valid ARRT credential

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Minimum of 1‑3 years licensed experience in Radiology; one (1) year of IR experience preferred

Angio, Peripheral and Neuro experience a plus
