Job Description Are you passionate about applying your chemistry knowledge in a dynamic, hands‑on laboratory environment? Join our team as an Associate Chemist I, where you’ll play a key role in supporting innovative product development and performing critical analytical testing that drives quality and compliance.
Responsibilities
Perform a variety of analytical tests using established and evolving methods, including dissolution, assay, impurity profiling, pH, viscosity, titrations, and other USP-based techniques.
Prepare reagents, solutions, and samples for testing, ensuring accuracy and consistency in every step.
Document all work clearly and thoroughly so results can be easily reviewed and verified—your attention to detail matters.
Collaborate with team members to set up and clean up laboratory equipment, maintain organized workspaces, and contribute to routine lab upkeep.
Review raw data for accuracy and compliance with cGMP and internal SOPs, ensuring scientific integrity.
Assist in gathering data and documentation for regulatory submissions and technical reports.
Take ownership of your projects, prioritize tasks effectively, and manage time to meet deadlines.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance lab operations.
Essential Skills
Bachelor's degree in chemistry or related field.
6+ months of hands‑on laboratory or industry experience (internship or a few months in a chemistry‑related role preferred).
Familiarity with analytical techniques and laboratory best practices.
Proactive mindset.
Eagerness to learn and grow in a regulated environment.
Work Environment 100% Onsite. Work hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. The role involves working in a brand‑new expansion of the Maple Grove facility, supporting the growth of the analytical development group within the technical services department.
Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Maple Grove, MN.
Pay & Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.00/hr.
