Dental Hygienist

Key Responsibilities
Perform professional cleanings, scaling, polishing, and fluoride or sealant application.
Educate patients on oral hygiene, preventive care, and post‑treatment instructions.
Take and assess digital X‑rays, collaborating with the dentist on planning.
Support treatment preparation, follow‑up scheduling, and treatment plan discussion.
Maintain clean, organized treatment rooms and accurate patient records in the practice management system.
Uphold infection control protocols and comply with OSHA/CDC standards.
Continuously learn new techniques and contribute to process improvement.
Qualifications
Valid dental hygiene certification (U.S. preferred).
Proven experience performing cleanings, scaling, and patient education.
Excellent interpersonal skills, able to build rapport and guide patients toward treatment.
Knowledge of digital X‑rays, dental software, sterilization protocols, and charting.
Efficient, punctual, and able to manage time effectively while delivering high‑quality patient care.
